Punjab Weather Update: Temperature to rise from tomorrow, alert of heatwave for three days

An alert has been issued regarding heat wave for three days.

After the western disturbance in Punjab became sluggish, there was no significant change in the maximum temperature on Monday. The temperature in the state is currently about 2 degrees above normal. According to the Meteorological Center, the mercury will start rising in Punjab from Wednesday. An alert has been issued regarding heat wave for three days.

According to the Meteorological Center, a drop of 0.4 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the temperature. However, despite this, the temperature remains 1.9 degrees Celsius higher than the normal average of the state, which shows the intensity of heat. The highest maximum temperature in the state was 42.1 degrees Celsius, which was recorded in Bathinda.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heat wave in Punjab from 23 to 25 April. According to the Meteorological Department, its effect will be seen more in the districts adjoining Rajasthan. Talking about 23 April, this alert has been issued in 8 districts of Malwa in the state, namely Ferozepur, Fazilka, Muktsar, Faridkot, Moga, Bathinda, Mansa and Barnala.

Although the temperature will increase in other districts as well, but heat wave conditions will be seen more in these districts.
