Kapurthala: An unfortunate news has come out from America, where a Punjabi businessman has been shot dead in Chicago. The deceased has been identified as Naveen Singh (50), son of Shingara Singh, resident of Kuka Talwandi Hall, resident of Nadala (Kapurthala).
It is being told that Naveen has many stores in America. This incident happened when businessman Naveen Singh was going back home after closing the store late at night. Meanwhile, he was shot dead by a person of American origin.
Giving information in this regard, Avtar Singh Multani said that Naveen Singh was living in Chicago, with his family for the last 35 years and he had his own stores there. He said that last night around 10:30 pm in the US he was preparing to close the store to go home.
Meanwhile, a black man of American origin came to take the goods. There was an argument between the two regarding something. After which he opened fire on Naveen Singh. Due to this he died on the spot. It is being told that the American police arrested the accused who fired the bullets and sealed the store. More information on why he was shot is still awaited.
