Punjabi singer and actor Gurdas Maan’s younger brother, Gurpanth Maan (68) died on Monday. His last rites will be performed in Chandigarh today on June 10. Family members and people from the industry will be present on this occasion. He was ill for quite some time. He took his last breath yesterday at 5 pm on Monday at Fortis Hospital in Mohali.
He was ill for a few days
According to his relatives, Gurpanth had a business in Gidderbaha. His condition improved a few days ago. After this, he was discharged from the hospital. He spent a few days at home. After this, his health deteriorated again today. He was immediately brought to the hospital, but he died during treatment.
Gurpanth’s family includes his wife, son Gurniaz and daughter Guddu. Gurniaz and Guddu are living in Canada. While Gurpanth lived with his wife in Gidderbaha. Gurdas and Gurpanth were only two brothers, and they also have a sister. Advocate Gurmeet Maan, close to the family, has said that the news of Gurpanth’s death has been given to his children. These days Gurpanth’s son is at home, while his daughter returned to Canada about 10 days ago. She has been informed.
Gurmeet says that Gurpanth was younger than Gurdas Maan. He used to work with Gurdas Maan till 1990. He used to play mandolin, but after 1990 he opened his own shop in Gidderbaha. Apart from this, he also used to do farming. His behavior was very good.
