No alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for Chandigarh and Punjab today. But it is being feared that fog may be seen in many districts. Apart from this, there may also be cloudiness. Due to this the temperature is likely to increase.

Due to this rainy conditions are being created in Punjab on January 5-6. After which a change in the weather may be seen once again.

Flights of many airlines including SpiceJet, IndiGo, and Air India were affected. An average delay of five minutes was recorded for the flights arriving at Delhi airport and 11 minutes in the departing flights. Meanwhile, SpiceJet said that due to the bad weather, all the flights to and from Amritsar and Guwahati have been affected.
