When raindrops started falling in Muktsar district late at night, no one even realized that this rain would ruin someone’s life. This rain came as a disaster for a poor family in Bhangchari village. A three-year-old girl died and her brother was injured when the roof of the house collapsed. The parents survived, but are still in shock after losing their daughter.
Roof collapsed due to rain
The case is from Bhangchari village in Muktsar district, where a hardworking family lived in their one-room house. Villager Jang Singh informed that the accident took place around 9 pm when the rain started.
Four members of the family, husband, wife, and their two newborn children, were sleeping in the same room. The roof of their house, which was made of old data, weakened due to the rain and suddenly collapsed.
The entire family was buried under the debris when the roof collapsed. The couple escaped unhurt as they were slightly injured, but three-year-old Jaspreet Kaur died when the debris fell on her. Her brother, who is about four years old, was injured. Judge Singh’s family from village Bhangchari was poor and earned their living by hard labor. This night’s rain brought such a tragic turn for them that it changed their lives forever.
