Chandigarh : The newly appointed Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission, Smt. Raj Lali Gill assumed her post today in the presence of Punjab Sports and Youth Services Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Meet Hayer expressed hope that the newly appointed chairperson is honest, hardworking, fair and far-sighted and she will fulfill her responsibility well.
He said she would act as a bridge between the government and institutions for effective implementation of pro-women policies. The Cabinet Minister congratulated Raj Lali Gill and expressed hope that the implementation of schemes related to women welfare in the state will ensure the welfare of women.
Mrs. Raj Lali Gill expressed gratitude to Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann. She said that she will fulfill the responsibility given to her with full devotion. While assuming the post, he said that the Punjab Government has entrusted him with the responsibility for the welfare of women. She will perform this duty with complete honesty and dedication.
