Mohali: The Punjab State Women Commission has taken suo motu notice of alleged derogatory remarks made by Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira about women. Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill strongly criticised Khaira’s comments, saying the language used about women—referring to them as “dancing ladies”—was disrespectful and reflected arrogance. She said the remarks hurt the dignity.
