Jagraon: A case has been registered in Sadar police station against the accused person for doing obscene acts with a girl going to learn Kirtan in Gurudwara Sahib in Jagraon of Punjab. The accused has been identified as Amandeep Singh, a resident of Lakha village.
Giving information, SI Kirandeep Kaur of Sadar police station said that Amandeep Kaur, a resident of village Dholan, told the police in the complaint lodged that her husband lives abroad and she is a housewife.
She has four children, including a son and three daughters. Her youngest daughter is 10 years old. The accused teaches Kirtan in Gurudwara Shaheedan in their village, where her daughter started going to learn Kirtan last month.
One day, when her daughter came back home from Gurudwara Sahib, she was scared. When she questioned her daughter, she told her that Baba was very dirty. Baba has done obscene acts with her. Now she will not go to learn Kirtan in Gurudwara Sahib; she is very scared. Hearing this, the ground slipped under their feet. In this regard, when they tried to know the truth of the matter by talking to the accused, the accused denied it. After that, they talked to the members of the Gurudwara Committee about the matter and checked the cameras installed in Gurudwara Sahib. The accused was seen doing wrong things with her daughter in the CCTV cameras.
At that time, she remained silent for the sake of her and her daughter’s respect and did not take any action, but despite this, her daughter was still scared about that incident. After talking to her family members about this incident, she decided to take action so that the accused could be punished. After this, she complained to the police. Immediately after receiving the complaint regarding the matter, the police registered a case against the accused at the Sadar police station.
