RK Arora takes over as New Principal of Defence Accounts (Army) Chandigarh

Arora has a vast experience in the areas of financial policy, accounting, audit, budget, procurement and personnel matters.

Chandigarh: R. K. Arora, a senior officer of Indian Defence Accounts Service (1990 Batch) has taken over as new Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (PCDA) (Army), Western Command, Chandigarh today. Before joining PCDA, Chandigarh, he was Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Air Force) in Dehradun.

Arora has a vast experience in the areas of financial policy, accounting, audit, budget, procurement and personnel matters. He has held prestigious assignments in the service of Government of India as Additional Secretary in UPSC, Finance Manager (Air) in Acquisition Wing of Ministry of Defence and Director in Ministry of Finance.

He has also worked as Member (Finance) in the erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkata (on deputation), Internal Financial Advice (IFA) HQ Central Command of Indian Army and in various field offices of Defence Accounts Department.
