Road Mishap in Jalandhar: Four including infant killed as two cars collide

Jalandhar: In tragic news, four people died in a horrific road accident near Raowali village under Maqsudan in Jalandhar, Punjab. The accident took place around 5 in the morning.

A total of four people died in this accident in which there is also an infant of 11 months. The police reached the spot and case has been registered at Police station Maqsudan. The bodies of deceased have been kept in the mortuary for post-mortem. Both cars were badly damaged in the collision.

As per the information received, those deceased were natives of Maharashtra. Ganu Ram Lal (59), Son Lokesh Kumar (33), Daughter-in-law Anisha (27), granddaughter (11) and two other relatives were coming back from Mata Vaishno Devi. It is said that Ganu Ram Lal was coming Jalandhar to meet his Son who is posted in BSF.

Today morning, Ram Lal’s car (Grand I 10) was on Jalandhar Jammu Highway coming from Pathankot towards Jalandhar. When their car reached near Raipur Rasoolpur, a speeding Innova hit the car from the back.
