In broad daylight, robbers attacked a Flipkart employee near Adampur in Jalandhar with sharp weapons and looted about Rs 1.5 lakh and fled. A complaint has been registered with the Adampur police station in this regard. Currently, the police are examining the CCTV footage of the area to find out where the accused had come from and in which direction they had fled.
This incident happened to a young man working in Flipkart near Adampur Sports Stadium Road Shivpuri. Manpreet Singh, a resident of village Dohre in Adampur, said – he works in Flipkart and was collecting money from shops like every day.
When he reached near Adampur Shivpuri Road, two masked robbers on a motorcycle surrounded him and attacked him with a sickle (weapon) on his hand, injuring him. The accused tried to rob him of money and fled from there. It is being claimed that the accused also opened fire.
DSP said – All the accused will be arrested soon
Adampur DSP Kulwant Singh said – The police have started investigating the incident and these robbers will be arrested soon. Also, DSP Kulwant said – At present, no case of firing has come to light at the crime scene. However, the police of Adampur police station is investigating the matter. Soon all the accused will be in police custody.
