Robbery from Amarnath pilgrims group in Faridkot

Faridkot: Robbers have attacked a group of Amarnath pilgrims in Faridkot, Punjab. The group of pilgrims from Bathinda had reached Chahal village in Faridkot on 11 bikes. The robbers were hiding near the semanale, they attacked them with sharp weapons and sticks. In which one person’s finger was cut and another person’s leg was injured.

In this fight, the bike fell and the pilgrims ran towards the field to save their lives, then the robbers ran away after looting their bikes, bags full of goods, cash, etc.

The pilgrims were told that their bikes were coming ahead and behind. The robbers first looted a bike rider, but he escaped. But later, they attacked two boys riding on another bike. They also had a scuffle with the robbers.

The robbers attacked him with sharp weapons, after which he got injured.

His other companions, who were following him, took the injured devotees to the hospital.

At present, the police are investigating the CCTV cameras around the incident site and are trying to trace the accused. So that the robbers can be traced soon. Devotees expressed concern over such situations and said that the increase in such incidents in Punjab is a cause for concern and the administration needs to pay attention.
