Samrala: The dead bodies of 2 youths were found in a suspicious condition in a room at Model Town Colony located on Kuhara Road in Machiwara. The deceased have been identified as Deepak Kumar alias Deepu and Vijay Kumar.
According to the information received, both Deepak Kumar and Vijay Kumar worked in a factory located on Kuhara Road.
Sulakhan Kumar, father of deceased Deepu said that both of them left home yesterday evening saying that they were going to pay obeisance at the religious place. Today, someone informed them that both of them were lying unconscious in a room at Model Town. When he reached the room, both youths were found dead. He has no idea who might have done this or any suspect behind it.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem. The room where both bodies were recovered was checked and some food and drink items were taken by the police for investigation. The news of the death of youths left their family devasted.
Dr. Hardeep of Civil Hospital Samrala said that they received two bodies that were found in suspicious conditions. He added that the reason behind the death of two youths can be ascertained only after the post-mortem is done.
