Gas cylinder blast in Upli village of Sangrur: husband killed, wife and son injured

Roof blown off, wall collapses, husband dies on the spot

The explosion was so strong that the kitchen roof flew off and the wall fell on 55-year-old Karamjit Singh who was sleeping in the courtyard nearby. He died on the spot due to serious injuries.

Treatment of wife and son continues in the hospital

The woman and her son also got burnt in the explosion. Both were immediately admitted to **Sangrur Government Hospital**, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of both is now said to be stable.

Villagers appealed to the administration for help

The villagers have demanded financial assistance from the administration and the government for this poor family. They say that Karamjit Singh was the only earning member of the family and with his departure the family has become completely helpless.
