Chandigarh: MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is once again in the news for her controversial statement about Punjab and protesting farmers. Now farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher recently shared a video and demanded action from BJP against Kangana. Farmer leader Pandher who is at Shambhu Border has demanded strict action against for her recent statement. It should be noted that Yesterday, BJP in a release termed Kangana’s statement as her personal opinion and rejected it as the party’s stand.

“If BJP feels that Kangana’s statement is wrong then they should come up. She is BJP’s Parliamentary member so BJP should take action against her and apologize on her behalf”, Pandher can be heard in the video message.

Pandher also raised the issue of farmers’ leaders being stopped at the Airport. Pandher said “Jagjit Singh Dhaliwal was stopped at the airport yesterday because he was wearing some traditional symbols of Sikh religion, which is why he was not allowed to board the plane, it is very deplorable. On 31st August there will be a big gathering at all the borders, people from all of North India will reach as many borders as possible.”

It is to be noted that recently BJP leader and Member of Parliament from Mandi Kangana Ranaut created a controversy by saying that if the Modi government had not taken strict steps, a situation like Bangladesh could have arisen in India due to the farmers’ protest. In a video shared on Twitter, Kangana Ranaut alleged that during the farmers’ agitation against the three farm laws, ‘bodies were seen hanging and rapes took place.’
