Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup Final: Punjabi singer Parmish Verma to perform, free entry for fans

The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) is leaving no stone unturned to make the much-awaited second Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup Final, to be played at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali, a grand affair, with defending champions BLV Blasters taking on Trident Stallions on Thursday evening.

Chandigarh: The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) is leaving no stone unturned to make the much-awaited second Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup Final, to be played at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali, a grand affair, with defending champions BLV Blasters taking on Trident Stallions on Thursday evening.

The match will begin at 7:15 pm, but fans will be entertained by famous Punjabi singers Parmish Verma, Shahat Gill and Dilpreet Dhillon, who will mesmerize the audience with his songs.

Performance to begin at 5:30 pm

The singers’ performance will begin at 5.30 pm. The PCA has made arrangements to smoothen the process of entry into the stands for fans. According to the PCA management, the idea is to get fans to come to the stands so that they can not only enjoy the cultural programme but also cheer for their favourite cricketers.

These cricketers will also be present

Guests including young cricketers from all districts of Punjab along with the tricity have also been invited. Other special guests include wheelchair cricketers and blind cricketers from Punjab, who have been consistently performing well on the pitch.

Army personnel from Chandimandir Cantt and Punjab Police personnel from PAP will also be cheering for the teams reaching the finals. Students of Punjab University are also coming to watch the matches. Fans will have to show their Aadhar card as a proof of identity and will be allowed to enter the stadium from gate number 8 and 9.
