Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case: Father Balkaur Singh misses court hearing, Next date set for July 25

An important hearing was to be held in the Mansa court today in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.

Mansa, July 4: An important hearing was to be held in the Mansa court today in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. The deceased’s father Balkaur Singh was to appear for testimony, but he did not appear in court. For this reason, the court has scheduled the next hearing on July 25, 2025.

Advocate Satinderpal Singh Mittal informed that today all the accused were produced through video conferencing. These included Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and other accused. So far, the testimony of two friends of Moosewala has been completed in the case.

Both of them were present at the spot at the time of the incident. They had identified the shooters, vehicles and weapons. Now apart from Balkaur Singh, the testimony of Sukhpal Singh and a police officer is pending. The court has ordered all of them to appear on the next date.

In Jawaharke village of Mansa district of Punjab on May 29, 2022. He was going with two friends in his Thar jeep when the attackers opened fire on them. The attackers included 6 shooters, who belonged to the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gang. This murder was planned by Goldie Brar sitting in Canada, in which Lawrence’s brother Anmol and nephew Sachin Thapan were also involved.
