Mansa: The first birthday of Shubhdeep, younger brother of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, was celebrated with great pomp at their mansion in Mansa. A large number of his fans also attended the occasion. Congress leader and former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi was also present on the occasion. He cut the cake with the family and wished them.
Channi said, “When I reached the room in the mansion, there was a picture of Sidhu in front of me. I felt as if he was saying – brother, I am right here. I consider myself lucky that I got a chance to celebrate Chhota Sidhu’s birthday. We are happy that Shubhdeep has come to the family and spread happiness.”
Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh said, “A big wound has been healed, and we are taking it that way. The loss of our elder son can never be compensated, but this has definitely brought some relief. The arrival of former Chief Minister Sahab made this moment even more special.”
He further said that it is because of the love of the people that we are celebrating this festival. Earlier, Charanjit Singh Channi targeted the Punjab government and said that “the government has done nothing in three years. Only drama is going on in the name of stopping drug abuse. The power of Punjab is in the hands of inept people.”
The former Chief Minister alleged that after losing the elections in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party has handed over the command of Punjab to Arvind Kejriwal and Kejriwal is continuously visiting Punjab.
Sidhu Moosewala’s mother became a mother at the age of 58. Moosewala contested the 2022 election from Mansa on a Congress ticket. During this, his mother Charan Kaur had filled an affidavit as a covering candidate. Then Charan Kaur had stated her age as 56 years. According to this, her age is now around 58 years and Balkaur Singh’s age is around 60 years.
