Smuggling attempt foiled as BSF recovers drone and heroin on Punjab border

Tarn Taran: Alert troops of BSF recovered drone and heroin and foiled smuggling attempts at the border. In two separate incidents yesterday, Punjab BSF foiled the smuggling attempts and recovered a drone and packet of heroin.

Yesterday, On November 3rd, Border Security Force troops foiled two separate smuggling attempts from the border. BSF recovered a 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚-𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐉𝐈 𝐌𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝟑 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 and 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐧. The packet of heroin weighed around 426 grams which was wrapped in yellow tape and fitted with a copper wire during loop.

Reliable information from BSF intelligence about the presence of narcotics and prompt action of BSF troops on it, thwarted another attempt to breach border security.

Day before on November 2, acting on specific intelligence information vigilant troops of BSF Punjab conducted a search operation in a farming field adjacent to a border village and successfully recovered a 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚-𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐉𝐈 𝐌𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝟑 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 in the late evening hours on Amritsar border. The BSF’s proactive intelligence and unwavering dedication to security have once again safeguarded our borders from illegal drone activities.
