Jalandhar: The cases of theft are growing continuously in west Halka of the city. One more incident of theft has come to fore in which thieves have targeted a Mohalla Clinic. Here in Basti Danishmanda, Thieves looted the Mohalla Clinic.
This time, thieves looted medicines, equipment, syringes and other items there in the clinic. Giving more information about this incident, Medical Officer Kamaraj said that incidents of theft have been happening for the last one month but this time, thieves sneaked inside the clinic by breaking the glass. They escaped the spot from bathroom and also took clothes, toilet seat along with the medicines.
Medical officer told that there was a month’s stock of medicines lying there in the clinic. He also added that there was also a box of 50 pieces of syringes which the thieves ran away with. The doctor said that the thief has also consumed cigarette as an used cigarette has also been recovered from there.
Report of the incident has been filed in the police station no. 5. Police has also started the investigation and assured that culprits will be arrested soon. It is also speculated that this incident of theft is work of some drug addict.
