Since July 14, emails containing threats to blow up Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib have been coming continuously, after which the administration has also come into action and the administration is continuously keeping a tight vigil outside Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. Along with this, bomb squad teams are conducting periodic inspections in Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib.
Meanwhile, the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee had also held a press conference and appealed to the administration to take action on this. On the other hand, today, the Head Granthi of Sri Darbar Sahib and former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh, while talking to the media, said that Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib has always been open to people of every religion, race, and country. Everyone can come here and pay obeisance, take bath, eat langar and participate in the service. According to the Bani of Guru Sahib, this is such a place where there is no obstacle to anyone coming and going.
He said that it is very sad that, since July 14, threatening emails have been received on the email ID of Sri Harmandir Sahib continuously.
This raises the question that despite such advanced technology, neither the threat makers have been identified yet, nor has any appropriate action been taken by the government or the agencies.
Giani Raghbir Singh said in a strong tone that the responsibility of the area inside the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee lies with the SGPC management, but the responsibility outside the Parikrama lies directly with the government administration.
He said that any person can take such a heinous step by coming under the influence of Bhekhdhari. Therefore, the government should conduct a necessary investigation and expose the conspirators.
