Punjab: In sub-division of Firozpur district of Punjab, SDM’s steno Gurmeet Singh has been arrested by vigilance team for taking of Rs 10,000. On the complaint of Harpreet Singh Kanboo, action was taken against steno said by Spokeperson of vigilance team.
Complainant has made contact with Vigilance Bureau and that the Harpreet Singh had asked bribe of 25,000 inreturn for helping him in exchange for a share in the residential house in his sister’s name.
After probbing the case, vigilance team has laid the trap and arrest the accused while taking the bribe of Rs 10,000.
A case has been registered against Harpreet Singh by Finance Vigilance Bureau Ludhiana and further actions are going on.
