Sucha Singh Chhotepur stopped from going to America by immigration officials, passport confiscated

Chhotepur, a two-time MLA, was going to Los Angeles to attend his granddaughter's wedding.

Chandigarh: Former Aam Aadmi Party president of Punjab and currently a senior leader associated with the Akali Dal Sudhaar lehar, Sucha Singh Chhotepur, was not allowed to travel to Los Angeles by immigration officials.

According to information, immigration officials confiscated his passport at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi last night, saying that someone had misused it. Chhotepur, a two-time MLA, was going to Los Angeles to attend his granddaughter’s wedding.

Chhotepur said that he does not understand on what basis the immigration stopped him and confiscated his passport when all the documents were complete.

The immigration officials refused to listen to him. According to Chhotepur, he told the officials that there was no civil or criminal case pending against him.
