Batala: Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has suspended Dera Baba Nanak Vidhan Sabha Constituency in-charge Ravikaran Singh Kahlon from the primary membership of the party due to anti-party activities. Sukhbir Badal said that indiscipline will not be tolerated at any cost.
Sharing information in this regard, Shiromani Akali Dal candidate from Gurdaspur Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has expelled Dera Baba Nanak Vidhan Sabha in-charge Ravikaran Singh Kahlon from the primary membership of the party on charges of anti-party activities and backstabbing the party. He further wrote that Badal said that indiscipline will not be tolerated at any cost.
It is worth mentioning that Ravikaran has contested the Vidhan Sabha elections in 2022 from Dera Baba Nanak constituency against Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. Ravikaran Singh Kahlon is the son of late Nirmal Singh Kahlon, former Minister and Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha.
