Suman Kaypee passed away, last rites to be held today in Jalandhar

Suman Kaypee, wife of Shiromani Akali Dal leader Mohinder Singh Kayeee passed away on Sunday. It is said that she died after a prolonged illness.

Suman Kaypee daughter-in-law of this family, which is one of the oldest political families of Punjab, spent her entire life in social service. Last rites of Suman will be performed today. Her cremation will be held today at 2 pm in Model Town crematorium.

Suman Kaypee had been suffering from health problems for the last several months. Suman Kaypee was a Congress candidate for assembly elections in the year 2012.

Leaders of all political parties shared their grief with the family on her demise.

Political leaders including Charanjit Singh Channi, Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, and many others paid tributes. Sardar Daljit Singh Cheema yesterday posted, “Mrs. Suman Kaypee ji, the wife of the senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal, Mr. Mahendra Kaypee ji, passed away today. Reached his residence in Jalandhar today and shared his grief with KP Sahib and his family. May God rest the departed soul in his feet and give strength to the family.”
