We have been trying to talk to the farmers for the last 4 months. We had placed the initial issues before the court. The report has not been filed yet. We will present the report soon. Earlier, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal appeared on behalf of the Punjab government. Here he claimed that farmer leader Jagjit Dallewal has agreed to meet the committee formed by the court. Sibal appealed for the hearing to be held after some time. On which the court fixed the hearing for Friday (January 10).

Earlier, Dallewal had written a letter to the committee chairman retired Justice Nawab Singh saying that his delegation had met the Supreme Court committee on 4 November 2024 but the committee did not get time to come to Shambhu and Khanauri border. Dallewal started vomiting after the address
After a 9-minute address in the Mahapanchayat on Saturday, Dallewal started feeling dizzy and vomiting. His blood pressure went down considerably.
