A heart-wrenching accident occurred in Tarn Taran with a bus full of passengers. In fact, this morning, a direct collision took place between a bus from Patti Depot and a tipper. During this accident, about half a dozen passengers including the bus driver were injured, who have been admitted to the Civil Hospital Tarn Taran for treatment.
Giving information, Patti Depot bus driver Randhir Singh said that when he reached near the nearby village Shahabpur with a bus full of passengers in the morning, he applied the brakes to save the bus from a tree that had fallen in the middle of the road, but the brakes did not work, after which the bus collided with a tipper coming from the front.
Giving information in this regard, a person travelling in the bus, Mohan Singh, said that the bus coming from Patti to Tarn Taran collided with a truck going from Tarn Taran to Patti. Meanwhile, about half a dozen passengers were injured, who were taken to the Civil Hospital in Tarn Taran with the help of an ambulance. Meanwhile, the police have reached the spot and started further legal action and investigation.
Giving information in this regard, Senior Medical Officer of Civil Hospital Tarn Taran, Dr. Sarabjit Singh said that more than half a dozen victims of the road accident are undergoing treatment. Many of them have also been discharged.
