Chandigarh: The weather is expected to remain dry in Punjab and Chandigarh in the coming week. There is no possibility of rain or thunderstorm. However, a new western disturbance will become active from the night of March 24, which will affect the western Himachal region.
In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature of the state has increased by 1.4 degrees, while the normal temperature has been 2.4 degrees. The highest temperature of 33.1 degrees has been recorded in Bathinda.
At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is likely to increase by three to four degrees in the next four days.

At the same time, the state has received 59 percent less rainfall from March 1 to March 22. During this period, only 7.6 mm of rain was recorded, whereas normally 18.6 mm of rain occurs during this period.
