Temple priests killed young Pandit in temple, body buried under Havankund

A sensational case has came to light that 33-year-old Sudeep Kumar son of Gurinder Kumar resident of Dhuri was murdered by two priests

Sangrur : A sensational case has came to light that 33-year-old Sudeep Kumar son of Gurinder Kumar was murdered by two priests of Bangalamukhi temple near Dohala railway gate of Dhuri in Sangrur and after the murder, the body was buried under the Havankund built in temple.

The family members filed a complaint

Giving information, Saurabh Sabharwal, in-charge of Police Station City Dhuri, said that Sudeep Kumar’s family members had submitted complaint to Police Station City Dhuri that Sudeep Kumar, who used to teach Pandit Vidya to young children. Didn’t came home on 2nd May.

After the murder, the body was buried under the Havankund

When the family members went to the temple and inquired about their son, the temple priest Parmanand told that he had not come to the temple from 2 days. But when the police questioned Parmanand, they become suspicious and brought him to the police station. During the interrogation, Parmanand told the whole story of Sudeep Kumar’s murder and admitted that he had killed him and buried the body under Havankund.

A case has been registered against the chief priest Ashok Shastri

While taking action against him, the police of Dhuri police station has taken out the body buried under the havankund and kept it in the government hospital for post-mortem. The police station in-charge said that a case of murder has been registered against Bangalamukhi temple priest Parmanand and head priest Ashok Shastri and further action has been started.

He said that the matter is being investigated and if any other person is found to be involved in the matter then strict action will be taken against him and no one will be spared.
