State President of Bahujan Samaj Party Sardar Jasveer Singh Garhi while issuing a press note said that today Shiromani Akali Dal is thankful for the support given to Jalandhar West Vidhan Sabha by-election.
Sardar Garhi said that the Congress party won a large number of members of parliament by taking the votes of Dalit, backward and minority sections in the name of protecting the constitution through the INDIA alliance.

Under the Post Mater Scholarship Scheme, the number of students from weaker sections has reduced to only about 1 lakh. The drug trade in Punjab, the deteriorating law and order situation and the ongoing permanent sit-ins of unscrupulous employees are a black mark on the face of the Punjab government.
Sardar Gardi appealed to all the parties to support the Bahujan Samaj Party so that the political future of the people of Punjab can be secured by defeating the Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
