Flights start soon from Halwara Airport: Fatehgarh Sahib MP meets Union Aviation Minister

The work at Halwara International Airport in Ludhiana was delaying for a long time.

Chandigarh: The matter of the demand to start flights from Halwara International Airport in Ludhiana has reached the central government. In this matter, Congress MP from Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr. Amar Singh, has met Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu.

Amar Singh has demanded from him that whatever problems arise regarding the project, they should be resolved on a priority basis. The MP himself has shared information about the meeting on his social media account. He has also posted a photo of the meeting.

Earlier yesterday, Dr. Amar Singh and Patiala MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi met Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. In the meeting, he raised the issue of opening trade at the Wagah border. Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi has also shared this information on social media. He has written that work has started on the real issues in Punjab.

The work at Halwara International Airport in Ludhiana was hanging for a long time. However, the work on the terminal has been completed. While some work is still pending, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni held a meeting with the officials regarding Halwara Airport. Also, instructions were given to complete all the pending work at the international airport by July 31.
