CM Bhagwant Mann has inaugurated it today (Wednesday). This hotel is a new example of art and culture in itself. Booking of a room for one night ranges from 47 thousand to five lakhs. However, before booking the hotel, online booking will be done. There will also be a facility for shooting films etc. soon.

No tampering has been done with the fort

This is an 18th century fort. The rich heritage of Punjab will be clearly visible in it. No tampering has been done with its original form. ‘The Ranwas Palace’ is the name of this hotel, the queens of Patiala Maharaja used to live here.

Film City Project in Mohali

The CM said that Punjab has property in Himachal’s McLeodganj, Rajasthan and Goa. Good news will be given about them soon. He told that earlier rest houses were sold. But after the formation of this government, the property has been purchased.

Film City Project is being brought in Siswan Dam. The CM said that Rajasthan has converted old forts into hotels. We have many palaces. At the same time, the culture of Punjab is very good. Patiala is very famous for many things. It will emerge as a wedding destination here.

First of all, the face of Chauhal Dam changed

The CM said that before our government came, not much had happened in the tourism sector. But since our government has come, work has been done in this direction. Earlier, Chauhal Dam in Hoshiarpur has been developed as a tourism hub. There are facilities from food to jungle safari and accommodation.

You will be able to enjoy mustard greens and maize bread here. Similarly, Ranjit Sagar Dam has been developed as Chamrod.

The roof of the hotel is made of wood

The government has been working on this project for many years. This project gained momentum two years ago in 2022. The areas of Ranwas, Gilukhana and Lassi Khana located in Qila Mubarak have been converted into a heritage hotel. The Archaeological Department itself is getting the repair work of this building done by an institution in Delhi.

The government had released a fund of six crores in the initial phase. This hotel has been prepared within Qila Mubarak, the house of Baba Ala Singh, the founder of Patiala city. The roof of the hotel is made of wood.

As soon as you enter the fort, there is Ranwas Palace on the left. The queens of Patiala state used to live in this building and they were rarely allowed to go out of the building.
