Faridkot, June 1: Three youths lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Faridkot district on Sunday morning. This accident happened near the village Panjgarai Kalan when three friends coming from Moga were riding on a motorcycle. Then, a PRTC (Punjab Road Transport Corporation) bus going towards Chandigarh hit them.

The collision was so severe that the bike was shattered into pieces. All three youths fell on the road far away. Two of them died on the spot, while the third died while being taken to the hospital. After the accident, there was chaos in the area and passersby immediately informed the police and ambulance.

The police reached the spot and took the bodies in their custody and sent them to the civil hospital for postmortem. The PRTC bus has been seized and a case of negligent driving has been registered against the bus driver. The police said that a detailed investigation of the accident is underway and CCTV footage is also being examined.
