Chandigarh: On Sunday morning, a speeding car collided with a truck parked on the highway in Panchkula, Haryana. Four youths travelling in the car died on the spot. The accident took place at 5 am on the Solan-Shimla bypass on the Chandigarh-Shimla highway in Pinjore.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the bodies into custody and sent them to the Civil Hospital in Sector-6 of Panchkula.
The deceased have been identified as Vaibhav Yadav (16), Adhyayan Bansal (17), both residents of Panchkula and Mohammad Adeep, a resident of Mohali. The fourth youth was also a resident of Panchkula.
All four youths were coming from Parwanoo in a Verna car. The car was shattered as soon as the collision took place. Two youths fell out of the car. One youth fell about 10 feet away due to the breaking of the roof of the car. The fourth youth got stuck in the car.
