Tragic road accident on Rajpura-Ambala National Highway: three students killed, one seriously injured

Three youths died and one was seriously injured in a tragic road accident near Ghaggar Sarai on the Rajpura-Ambala National Highway. The deceased have been identified as Khushwinder Singh (resident of Ambala Cantt), Priyansh and an unidentified person. The injured Manan Kapoor has been admitted to MM Hospital in Ambala in a critical condition, where he is struggling between life and death.

According to the information received, these four youths had come to take admission in Chitkara University in Rajpura. After completing the admission process, they returned to Ambala in their car. Near Ghaggar Sarai, their car collided head-on with a speeding truck. The collision was so violent that the car was badly damaged and all the four youths in it were seriously injured.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, the local police and passers-by reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. The injured were immediately taken to the Civil Hospital in Rajpura, where doctors declared Khushwinder Singh and Priyansh dead. The seriously injured unidentified youth died on the way to the hospital. Considering the critical condition of Manan Kapoor, he was referred to MM Hospital in Ambala after first aid.

This heartbreaking incident has sent a wave of grief across the area. The family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident. The police have reached the spot and taken possession of the truck, and have started investigating the matter. In the initial investigation, the negligence of the truck driver is being considered as the reason for the accident. The police are registering a case against the truck driver and taking further action.
