Jalandhar: The bodies of two youths have been recovered by GRP police near Tanda railway crossing and Nagra railway line in Jalandhar. Police also found some injections beside one of the youths. The bodies of both have been taken into custody and sent to Civil Hospital Jalandhar for postmortem.
Both the deceased youths have not been identified yet. Due to this the police have circulated the photos of both of them in the entire area. After the investigation, the police will take further action.
According to the information received, a body was recovered near the Tanda railway crossing at 9 pm yesterday. Information was given in the police control room about this following which ASI Charanjit Singh of GRP police station reached the spot for investigation. The police did not find any identity card or other items from the crime scene, which could help in identifying the deceased. As per police, the age of the deceased mut be around 28 to 30 years.
Police also found some injections beside body of one of the youths. Police is also investigating a drug overdose angle if youths were intoxicated or not.
