Two operatives of Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara gang apprehended by AGTF, pistol recovered

The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) ​​of Punjab Police has arrested two key henchmen of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara gang, Jashan Sandhu and Gursevak Singh. Both have been arrested from Mohali.

A .32 caliber pistol and 07 cartridges have been recovered from the accused. DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav has given this information by posting on social media account.

According to the police, Jashan Sandhu was involved in a murder in Ganganagar, Rajasthan in 2023. The police was looking for him for a long time. He had fled abroad. During this time, he had earlier reached Georgia, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Also, he was changing his hideouts to avoid arrest. At the same time, he reached Nepal from Dubai some time ago. Also, he entered India by road to escape the police.

Preliminary investigations reveal that Jashan played a crucial role in providing logistical support to the gang. His interrogation has led to the identification of overseas Hawala operators, travel agents, and the locations of fugitive gangsters hiding abroad—marking a significant step in dismantling these networks.

As per police, Sensational crimes have been thwarted in Punjab and New Delhi with the arrest of duo. He also added that Punjab police are committed to dismantling organized crime and ensuring public safety.
