Fazilka: Two players from Fazilka have brought medals to the country in the Taekwondo International Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand. About three thousand participants from 20 countries participated in this championship. Harman Kamboj of the Jalalabad area has increased their prestige by winning a silver medal and Arman Singh by winning a bronze medal. Both were given a grand welcome on reaching Jalalabad today.
Harman Kamboj said that he studies in a private school in Jalalabad and has already won a gold medal in national-level games. Now, after winning a silver medal at the international level, he will prepare for the Olympic games. At the same time, Arman Singh said that he too has already won a gold medal at the national level, and today he has reached this position only due to the blessings of his parents.
Giving information, Taekwondo coach Sunil Kumar said that his students Harman Kamboj and Arman Singh have brought medals to the country by winning silver and bronze medals in the Taekwondo International Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 10 to 12 August. He told me that this tournament was organized by the Bangkok government. In which about 3000 students from about twenty countries participated.
On reaching Jalalabad, the students were given a grand welcome by their family members by garlanding them with flowers. The students’ uncle, retired ASI Satpal Singh, appealed to other children to get inspired by them and focus on sports.
