Jalandhar: In a major news, 2 people have been shot dead in Jalandhar. According to information received from sources, these youths were sleeping at a friend’s house. During this time the accused came and shot the sleeping youths. Since then the accused has been absconding.
The police of Rama Mandi police station has reached the spot for investigation. The FSL team is also collecting evidence related to the accident.
The deceased have been identified as Shiv, a resident of Mota Singh Nagar and Vinay Tiwari, a resident of Basti Sheikh. Police have said that these youths have been shot by Manna, a youth living in Mitthapur. The matter is still being investigated.
According to sources, the incident took place near Lamma Pind Chowk in Jalandhar. Both the youths were sleeping at their friend’s house. Meanwhile, the accused Manna came and shot them while sleeping and fled. Police say that both the deceased youths have history and were wanted in a case registered in Police Station Division Number-6.
Along with the Rama Mandi police station, the Jalandhar CIA staff team has also reached the spot for investigation. In the investigation so far, the case seems to be of an old rivalry. Different teams are conducting raids in search of the accused Manna.
