Chandigarh, April 29: Starting April 30, consumers in Punjab will have to pay more for Verka Milk, as the popular dairy brand has announced a price hike of up to Rs 2 per litre. This increase comes just weeks after a previous revision in rates, adding further strain to household budgets.
The new rates will be applicable across all Verka milk variants. With this hike, daily milk expenses for families are set to rise, especially those relying on Verka as a staple.
While no official reason has been stated for the hike, dairy industry insiders often cite rising input costs such as fodder, transport, and packaging as contributing factors.
