Bathinda: In the village Mashana of Bathinda, thieves have stolen oil and other items from five electric transformers in the fields, due to which the farmers are facing trouble. Due to the theft of oil and other items from the transformers, the power supply has been disrupted. Due to this, the farmers are not able to irrigate the fields and sow the paddy crop.
According to the information, today, when the farmers of village Mashana went to sow paddy in their fields, they found the transformers installed in the fields open. Oil and other items were stolen from the transformers. Thieves stole oil from five transformers.
The Punjab government had appealed to the farmers to sow paddy on June 11. After that, the farmers also started preparing to sow paddy in their fields. However, due to the theft of oil from the transformers by the thieves, the power supply has been disrupted, due to which the farmers could not sow paddy.
