Ludhiana: Police has busted a case of drug smuggling in the Sidhwan Bet police station area of Ludhiana countryside. Where a young woman was doing the business of drug smuggling fearlessly. Police have arrested a young woman drug smuggler from Mahitpur village with 15 grams of heroin. The accused girl is a resident of Bangiwal Mahitpur.
According to ASI Sukhmander Singh of police station Sidhwan Bet, the police team was present in Dariya Ban village Madhepur during patrolling. During this, secret information was received that a young woman has been involved in drug smuggling for a long time. According to the information, the accused supplies heroin in the villages of Jalandhar and Ludhiana countryside.
The police took immediate action and blocked the road from village Kaniyan Khurd to Parjian Kalan. When the women police personnel searched the accused, 15 grams of heroin was recovered from him. Police has registered a case against the accused in police station Sidhwan Bet and arrested him.
This case shows the increasing involvement of women in the field of drug trafficking, which is a matter of concern. According to the police, the accused was carrying out this illegal business without any fear and was running a large network of drug supply in the area.
