Amritsar: A young man died of electric shock in Amritsar. The young man was the father of three young daughters. The family alleges that the company for which he worked has misled them by saying that he died of a heart attack. At present, the police have taken the body into custody and sent it for a postmortem.
According to the information, Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Dhupasari in Verka, worked for Skyway Company. He had been working for the company for the last 12 years. Even today, he was doing electrical work at a site on the bypass on behalf of the company. There was a short circuit, and he fainted. After which his colleagues took him to the hospital and the doctors declared him dead.
After Pradeep’s death, the family was informed. After which his wife Aarti and mother, who reached the spot, said that the son died due to electric shock. But the company said it was a heart attack. At present, the police reached the spot, took the body into their custody, and sent it for a postmortem.
While talking to the media, the police officer said that the deceased Pradeep Kumar worked for Skyway Company and was a resident of the Dhupasari area of Verka. He died due to an electric shock. He said that the body had been sent for a postmortem. Appropriate action will be taken according to whatever report comes.
