Amritsar : Bhai Harcharanpreet Singh Ragi, the younger son of Shri Akal Takht Sahib’s head granthi Singh Sahib Giani Malkit Singh Varpal, has died in a road accident. He was going towards Tata Nagar with his friend Gurpreet Singh and father-in-law Jasbir Singh. The accident was so terrible that all three died on the spot.
Gyani Malkit Singh told that his son Bhai Harcharanpreet Singh was 25 years old. He has left behind his wife Gaganpreet Kaur and 2-year-old child in the family. Bhai Harcharanpreet Singh used to do kirtan and was going to Tata Nagar for a kirtan program. Suddenly his car met with an accident on the way. Due to this, all three died on the spot.
The last rites will be performed tomorrow
Gyani Malkit Singh told that after the post-mortem today, the body will be brought to Amritsar on June 8. After which his last rites will be performed tomorrow on Sunday, June 9. It may be recalled that a few days ago, the 16-year-old nephew of Giani Malkit Singh was murdered by a Pathi at Beed Baba Budha Sahib over money dealings.
