Mansa: A youth died under suspicious circumstances in Mansa, Punjab, although the family says the deceased died due to a drug overdose.
Bhikhi police station is saying that the matter is being investigated.
The case is Kotda village in Mansa district. 28-year-old Harjinder Singh, a resident of the village, died today. The family members of the deceased say that Harjinder had become addicted to different types of drugs, including chitta. They tried a lot to stop him. The family says that, despite repeated complaints, no steps have been taken by the police administration to prevent drug abuse in the village. The deceased was the only son in his family.
At the same time, police officials of the Bhikhi police station said that an investigation is still being done into the death of Harjinder Singh.
