Punjabi Singer Rajveer Jawanda Critical, Next 24 Hours Crucial: Doctors

Mohali: Doctors in Fortis Hospital said that the next 24 hours are crucial for Punjabi singer and actor Rajveer Jawanda, who suffered serious head and spinal cord injuries in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh.

Jawanda was admitted to Fortis Mohali on Saturday afternoon after reportedly suffering a heart attack at the Civil Hospital in Baddi. He is on advanced life support and remains in critical condition.

Singer Jas Bajwa, who met doctors, said Jawanda’s blood pressure is stable but his condition has not improved. “The next 24 hours will decide,” he added.

Fans and fellow singers including Gippy Grewal, Kanwar Grewal, Mankirt Aulakh, Kulwinder Billa, and Diljit Dosanjh have offered prayers. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Opposition leaders, and Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal also wished him a speedy recovery.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident, with conflicting reports about whether a truck, buffalo, or cow caused the crash.
