Punjabi youth from Raikot dies under suspicious circumstances in Spain

A case of the death of a 32-year-old youth from Raikot under suspicious circumstances while working in a factory in Spain has come to light. In this regard, the father of the deceased Arshdeep Singh, Balwinder Singh, a resident of village Bhaini Baringa, Raikot, told that his only son Arshdeep Singh had gone to Spain 8-9 years ago in search of a better future and employment and had been working in a factory for the last 5 years, but yesterday afternoon a relative called us and informed us about his death.

Expressing doubts about Arshdeep’s death, he said that since he had been working in a factory for the past five years, Arshdeep was fully aware of his work and what happened to him that he died, although after this incident, the owners did not close the factory and did not give full information about the incident to his relatives sitting outside the factory.

The family has demanded a thorough investigation of the matter from the Spanish government. At the same time, the family has requested the Punjab and Indian governments to talk to the Spanish government regarding this matter.

Arshdeep Singh had married Preneet Kaur two years ago, and she had gone to Spain to join Arshdeep a year ago. His sister Gurjit Kaur Bhanoia Charanjit Singh lives in England, and they reached Spain after coming to know about this incident.
