Punjabi Youth Murdered in Germany Over Alleged Temple Dispute; Four Haryana Men Accused

Kapurthala: A young man from the Kapurthala district of Punjab was murdered in Germany. He has been identified as 30-year-old Rajvinder Singh, a resident of Ramgarh.

Rajvinder Singh had been living in Germany for the past 10 years. He was critically injured in an attack involving sharp-edged weapons while attempting to resolve a dispute regarding a temple; he subsequently passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Passed away after three days of treatment

The deceased’s father, Jarnail Singh, stated that his son had gone to Germany in search of a better future. He eventually obtained citizenship and settled there permanently. Jarnail Singh mentioned that he received a phone call two days ago, on Saturday, informing him of a dispute between some youths from Haryana concerning the leadership of a temple in Germany.

According to his family, Rajvinder Singh had gone to the site last Wednesday to mediate and help resolve the conflict. It is alleged that during this time, four youths from Haryana attacked him with sharp-edged weapons, inflicting severe head injuries.

The injured Rajvinder Singh was immediately hospitalized, but he succumbed to his injuries on Friday after two days of treatment.
