MP Raghav Chadha Turns Delivery Rider for a Day to Highlight Delhi’s Gig Economy

New Delhi: AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha is set to offer a rare inside look into Delhi’s gig economy through an upcoming video in which he spends a full day working as a delivery rider.

Scheduled for release on Monday, January 19, 2026, the video captures Chadha experiencing the daily realities of delivery workers during Delhi’s freezing winter. Titled “Let’s Make the Invisible, Visible,” the experiment shows the MP wearing a Blinkit delivery jacket and riding an Activa alongside a gig worker while completing multiple orders across the city.

Throughout the day, Chadha is seen navigating tight delivery deadlines, cold weather conditions, and the physical demands of the job. He also interacts with fellow delivery partners, asking them about their earnings, work pressure, and the challenges they face on a daily basis.

Sharing details of the initiative on X, Chadha said the video aims to highlight the “pressure, challenges, and small wins” of delivery riders—workers who remain largely unseen despite being essential to urban life.
