New Delhi: Speculation about a possible new political party led by Raghav Chadha has intensified after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader reacted to a suggestion on social media calling for him to launch his own political platform.

The buzz began on Wednesday when Chadha responded to a user who suggested that instead of joining another party, he should form his own political outfit. Replying briefly, Chadha described the idea as an “interesting thought,” a comment that quickly sparked discussion among political observers and supporters online.

The development comes days after Aam Aadmi Party removed Chadha from the position of deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha. Reacting to the decision, Chadha said he had been “silenced,” but insisted that he was “not defeated.”

AAP leaders have accused Chadha of avoiding raising key issues related to Punjab in Parliament and focusing instead on what they described as “soft public relations.” The party also alleged that he refrained from questioning the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during parliamentary debates.

Since being removed from the post, Chadha has released four videos and two social media posts, signaling that he does not intend to remain silent over the controversy.

Rejecting the accusations, Chadha said his role in Parliament was to raise public issues rather than create disruptions. He also dismissed claims that he avoided opposition walkouts or refused to sign a notice seeking the removal of the Chief Election Commissioner, stating that facts contradict those allegations.

While Chadha has not formally announced any political move, his recent remarks have fueled speculation about his future political plans.
